Longcombe Timber / Forestry Identification Tags / Labels

For more than 20 years Longcombe have been supplying tags and labels to the forestry and Timber industry. Working closely with our clients we have developed our label and tag range to cope with the harshest of conditions such as those found within this industry.

Premium Range

All weather Premium Tags are virtually indestructible, withstanding rain and sun for many months and being extremely rip / tear resistant even when stapled or nailed to the product. The material was designed to stay on the timber from the beginning of measurement and grading, to milling many months later, and up to thousands of miles away – very often in other countries.

It has excellent print qualities and can be pre-printed by us or used in conjunction with a print system either provided by Longcombe or as part of an existing integrated setup. Can be used in low temperature Kilns (90o) and for long term (12months+ ) reliable identification and traceability.

Treated Timber Tagging

Labels and Tags designed to be fully weatherproof while exhibiting excellent rip resistant and print qualities. These tags have been developed as a cost effective solution for large scale tagging requirements. Different Colours available.

Kiln Dried Timber

A range of tags and labels designed to withstand Kiln temperatures of upto 260 oC whilst retaining excellent print and weatherproof qualities.

Self Adhesive Pack Labelling

Specialist high tack BS5609 marine approved adhesives with durable facestock to withstand wet and dirty conditions on application. Available in a wide range of colours and sizes and supplied either pre-printed or in a format to suit an existing print system.

Environmentally Friendly Tags / Labels

A line developed to give the user a tough waterproof tear resistant tag, that will Oxi-biodegrade after a period of no less than 18months. Good printability / Colours available.
